While you’re here
Your stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am.
What are the front desk hours?
The front desk is open 8 am to 8 pm. We usually close the office from 12–1 for lunch, and during slower parts of the season we may close a little earlier in the evening. There is an after-hours number if you need us.
Can I check in late or leave early?
Yes to both. If you know you’ll arrive after hours, call ahead and we’ll leave your key in the late-arrival box outside the office door. Leaving before we open? Drop your keys in the same box.
Is there breakfast?
Not a full breakfast, but there is complimentary coffee, pastries and fruit in the office from 8–10 am. Take it out to the gazebo across the road if the morning is a good one.
In the room
Rooms & guests
What’s in the room?
Every room has a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a coffee counter with a small coffee maker — coffee and cups included. There’s a hair dryer in each room, plus air conditioning and heat, free WiFi and a TV.
Tub or shower?
The Two Queen rooms have a tub/shower combo. Select King rooms have a walk-in shower instead — mention it when you book and we’ll do our best to set one aside for you.
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes. We have ground-floor rooms throughout and an accessible room available on request. Call the front desk at (920) 839-2345 and we’ll make sure you get the right one.
What about extra guests, cribs or rollaways?
Rates are quoted for two guests. Each additional occupant is $10, and a crib or rollaway is $5 per night.
Travelling with a dog
Dogs are welcome — in certain rooms
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, in designated rooms. Five of our rooms are set aside for guests travelling with a dog, including our accessible room. They book up quickly in season, so ask for one when you reserve rather than on arrival.
Is there a fee for dogs?
There is a nightly fee per dog. Call the front desk at (920) 839-2345 for the current rate when you book.
Deposits & cancellations
Booking your stay
How do deposits work?
When we take your reservation, a 50% deposit of your total stay is charged to your Visa, Mastercard or Discover card to hold the room. We’ll email your confirmation, and the balance is due when you arrive.
Is there a minimum stay?
Two nights on weekends through the season, and three nights on Labor Day and Columbus Day weekends. Exceptions are sometimes possible depending on what’s open — call us at (920) 839-2345 and ask.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than two weeks before your check-in date and your card is refunded. Within two weeks, no refund is issued unless we can re-rent the room, less a $50 service charge. Within one week, or a no-show, you are responsible for the entire stay.
How do I book?
Check availability and book online any time, or call the front desk at (920) 839-2345 between 8 am and 8 pm. For a specific room or a longer stay, calling is usually faster.
Where we are
The inn & the park
Are you on the water?
No — the inn isn’t on the water and the rooms don’t have a water view. Ellison Bay Town Park is directly across the road, with 283 feet of shoreline on Green Bay, a sand beach, a dock, a playground and tennis courts. It’s a walk across one quiet road, and there’s no admission.
Is parking free?
Yes. There’s ample parking right outside your room at no extra charge, and room for boat and bike trailers.
How do I get there?
Highway 42 runs the length of the peninsula and straight past our door at 11946 WI-42, Ellison Bay. Stay on it until you enter the village and we’re on your left. Roughly 1¼ hours from Green Bay, 3 from Milwaukee, 4½ from Chicago.
Can I smoke in the room?
No — Parkside Inn is a smoke-free property.
